Enjoying The City Through My Goddaughter's Eyes

A tiara with my Trafalgar Square tea, don't mind if I do!
A few weeks ago my long time married friends Ingrid and Lewis came into town from California with their daughter (my goddaughter) Anastasiya and it was full of girly-kid-friendly fun! It was great to mosey around the city through the eyes of a toddler for a second and well who can say no to wearing a tiara and ferris wheels? I sure can't!  Take a peek below of all the fun pictures if you'd like.

Having a sandwich and scone filled lunch at Alice's Tea Cup

So many tea choices so little time!

Taking the traaaaaain!

Anastasiya terrified of the moving dinosaur at Toys R Us and Ingrid thinking it was quite hilarious
It gave us a fright! ;p

Barbie store? Yes!!!

Memories

Love this little nugget

I LOVE having visitors!

Ice-skating in Central Park!

After two hours my little nugget could skate all on her own! Fearless just like her godmother!

Go Anastasiya go!

Ending off a good trip with some Serendipity's frozen hot chocolate

Winter Bucket List

Picture
Winter is finally here! It's hard to believe that winter starts so late in December but I am definitely welcoming the (hopefully very snowy) season with open arms. If y'all remember I try to put together a bucket list every season to keep me on track with budgeting, my social calendar, and to try new things. Thankfully I was able to accomplish most of the things on my fall bucket list! I went apple picking, re-vamped my fall wardrobe, finished decorating the living room and kitchen, had my first holiday party, and jumped in a pile of leaves! For this winter I really want to:

1. Get into more "indie" music, I discovered The Boxer Rebellion and I want to discover more awesome non-mainstream music, any suggestions?
2. Continue my figure skating classes and be able to spin effortlessly
3. Have lunch at Alice's Tea Cup here in the city
4. Watch season 1 of "Breaking Bad"
5. Go hiking upstate
6. Go skiing
7.  Learn how to knit
8. Spend a day reading
9. Have a snow ball fight---> make a snow man---> make snow angels
10. Have a tea party
11. Make another piece of jewelry
12. Go to a hockey game
13. FINALLY adopt an adorable Puggle named Charlie

14. Lay on the grass in Central Park and stare at the stars like last Winter
15. Have breakfast outside of Tiffany's in fancy clothes while sipping hot chocolate

What things are you jonesing to do this Winter? :)
