Braid Me Up!

After watching the People's Choice Awards last night, a few things became clear: I wish Ellen Degeneres and I were best friends, I need to get in touch with Jennifer Aniston's yoga instructor, and halo braids are all the rage. I personally love this hair trend because it can look soft and whimsical or sleek. Also now thanks to all of these wonderful hair tutorials, girls with long or short hair can sport this look.

Happiness Is...

Walking around my neighborhood in Park Slope, the brownstones, quirky boutiques, vegan restaurants, holiday lights, etc. just make me so warm, fuzzy, and happy inside.

Getting home to find snail mail from family and friends in my mailbox. I always do a little dance up to my apartment and read the letter immediately.

All things Katy Perry. Jamming out to her music while reading makes me nostalgic for home and well, being in love.

Having friends I can talk: life issues, politics, religion,  and dreams with as well as having ridiculously hilarious conversations about the "The Bachelor" with. Gawd I love that show.
