Eataly, Upstate New York, and a Mari Gras Party

Hey everyone! This week has been wonderfully hectic! My friend Aimee from Minnesota came to visit and we had just a wonderful time catching up. We even spontaneously rode the ferry from Williamsburg into the city, a lot of fun for just $4 bucks! I'm taking it easy today by finally watching Silver Linings Playbook with my "froomie" (friend + roommate, hehe)  while sipping some pinot that I fancy. This weekend will be very eventful as I'm going to go chow down at the magic that is Eataly,  drive upstate to go hiking, and lastly have a Mardi Gras party with a bunch of friends from church! I hope to get it all done and still squeeze in a little me time...i.e. a bubble bath. :) I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

P.s. Have you started planning for Valentines Day? Being the holla-day crazed fan that I am, I saw these cute cards at Anthropologie and now I just can't wait to mail mine out this weekend!

    I love riding the ferry. Years ago I used to live on an island and once rode the ferry for a day just talking to people. It was amazing. I met some really interesting people - I met the bassist from a local band by surrepticiously throwing smarties at him. He was great!
